Geoff Rasmussen

Geoff Rasmussen, the keynote speaker for Heritage Harvest, the 2008 Central Coast Genealogy Conference, is a popular speaker, genealogy technologist and author.  His keynote address is: Timelines & Chronologies, Secrets of Genealogical Success.

Highlights of his background include:

• Served as vice-president of the Utah Genealogical Association
• Taught for the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy
• Member of the Continuing Education faculty at Brigham Young University in the Family History Department
• Graduated from BYU with a degree in Family History and Genealogy
• Author of numerous books, videos, and articles on genealogy technology
• Developer of Legacy Family Tree genealogy software program

Geoff met and proposed to his wife in a Family History Center.  They now have three young "budding genealogists", ages 8, 6, and 3.  The Rasmussens live in Surprise, Arizona, in the Valley of the Sun.
